The Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2024 championship will enter its second phase next week on Tuesday, August 13th. The teams will compete at the famous British Silverstone circuit, racing with the Super Formula SF23 cars.

JJ Racing Team, currently in 8th place in the overall team standings, will once again field its two drivers – František Kaštovský and Lukáš Uhlík. František Kaštovský holds 11th place in the individual standings, just outside the top ten drivers, while Lukáš Uhlík is in 20th place after the first half of the season in the GT3 category.

The second half of the championship promises exciting battles on famous tracks across Europe and Japan. In addition to Silverstone, the drivers will race on circuits such as Spielberg in Austria, Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, Monza and Mugello in Italy, and the season will conclude with the prestigious race at the Suzuka circuit in Japan.

The Super Formula SF23 cars, which the teams will be racing with, are equipped with turbocharged 2.0-liter I4 engines that produce over 540 horsepower. Additionally, they feature an overtaking system (OT) that allows each driver to use up to 200 seconds of additional power in each race. This technological feature promises dynamic and thrilling races, where every moment will count.

The races will be broadcast live on the organizer’s YouTube channel and on O2 TV Sport. Viewers can look forward to unique racing experiences and support their favorite drivers and teams in the fight for valuable points.
