Portimão Belonged to JJ Racing Team! Kadlečík Dominated the Weekend and Was Voted Driver of the Day

The Portuguese „rollercoaster“ of Portimão hosted the fourth round of the Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2026 championship and delivered one of the most dramatic evenings of the season. The demanding circuit, filled with blind crests, rapid direction changes and technical sections, put the drivers’ concentration and bravery to the ultimate test. Once again, JJ Racing Team proved its strength.

From the very first minutes, it was clear that the main team had arrived in Portugal in outstanding form. Martin Kadlečík confirmed his status as the reigning champion with a completely dominant performance throughout the evening. To make it even better, he also earned another accolade – thanks to the fans’ vote, he was named Driver of the Day. The entire JJ Racing Team organization, including JJRT GridX and Esport Marketing Team, scored valuable points throughout the field and once again demonstrated that they belong among the championship’s elite.

Qualifying was dominated by the colors of JJ Racing Team. Martin Kadlečík secured pole position, while his teammate Vojtěch Fiala lined up alongside him in an excellent second place. Other team drivers also performed strongly – Tomáš Hora from Esport Marketing Team set the eighth-fastest time, Martin Krejča from JJRT GridX qualified ninth, and František Kaštovský completed the top ten. Lukáš Uhlík started from eighteenth position.

The sprint race once again showed why the Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP format is so popular among fans. The reverse-grid format created chaos, contact and aggressive battles from the very first corners. Martin Kadlečík, however, delivered a phenomenal comeback drive, fighting his way from tenth on the grid to take victory. Martin Krejča also impressed with a strong seventh-place finish, while František Kaštovský added tenth place. Vojtěch Fiala crossed the line in twelfth after several intense battles, with Tomáš Hora finishing sixteenth and Lukáš Uhlík seventeenth.

The main race then became a showcase of JJ Racing Team’s strength. Martin Kadlečík quickly built a gap after the start and controlled the race with confidence. He left no chance to his rivals and cruised to another victory, completing a perfect evening – pole position, sprint victory, main race victory, and Driver of the Day honors from the fans.

Vojtěch Fiala also delivered a very strong performance. After an unlucky sprint race, he fought back brilliantly to secure an excellent fourth-place finish in the main race. Martin Krejča once again demonstrated his consistency and helped the team strengthen its championship lead with another points-scoring ninth place. František Kaštovský finished just outside the top ten in eleventh, Tomáš Hora crossed the line in thirteenth, and Lukáš Uhlík finished sixteenth.

Portimão once again proved that Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2026 is not only about speed, but also about handling pressure, strategy and critical moments. JJ Racing Team leaves Portugal full of confidence. Martin Kadlečík has extended his championship lead to an impressive 54 points, while the team continues to hold first place in the team standings.

The next stop on the calendar will be the technical Sachsenring circuit in Germany on June 2, 2026. Fans will once again be able to follow all the action live on the Virtual GP YouTube channel and on Oneplay Sport.

Portimão patřilo JJ Racing Teamu! Kadlečík ovládl celý večer a fanoušci ho zvolili Jezdcem dne

Portugalská „horská dráha“ v Portimau přinesla čtvrtý podnik šampionátu Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2026 a zároveň jeden z nejdramatičtějších večerů letošní sezóny. Náročný okruh plný slepých horizontů, rychlých změn směru a technických pasáží dokonale prověřil koncentraci i odvahu jezdců. A právě zde JJ Racing Team znovu ukázal svoji sílu.

Od prvních minut bylo jasné, že hlavní tým přijel do Portugalska ve fantastické formě. Martin Kadlečík potvrdil roli úřadujícího šampiona a předvedl naprosto dominantní výkon během celého večera. K tomu navíc přidal ještě jedno ocenění navíc – díky hlasování fanoušků se stal také Jezdcem dne. Celá organizace JJ Racing Teamu, včetně týmů JJRT GridX a Esport Marketing, navíc znovu bodovala napříč startovním polem a potvrdila, že letos patří mezi absolutní špičku šampionátu.

Kvalifikace se nesla ve znamení dominance barev JJ Racing Teamu. Martin Kadlečík vybojoval pole position a hned vedle něj se na fantastickém druhém místě umístil jeho týmový kolega Vojtěch Fiala. Výborně si vedli i další jezdci – Tomáš Hora z Esport Marketing Teamu zajel osmý čas, Martin Krejča z JJRT GridX devátý a František Kaštovský uzavřel elitní desítku. Lukáš Uhlík odstartoval z osmnácté pozice.

Sprintový závod opět ukázal, proč je formát Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP mezi fanoušky tak populární. Otočený rošt přinesl chaos, kontakty i agresivní souboje hned od prvních zatáček. Martin Kadlečík ale předvedl fenomenální stíhací jízdu a z desáté pozice se dokázal probojovat až k vítězství. Skvělý výkon podal také Martin Krejča, který dovezl svůj vůz na sedmém místě, zatímco František Kaštovský přidal desátou pozici. Vojtěch Fiala po tvrdých soubojích dokončil dvanáctý, Tomáš Hora šestnáctý a Lukáš Uhlík sedmnáctý.

Hlavní závod už byl čistou ukázkou síly JJ Racing Teamu. Martin Kadlečík si po startu rychle vytvořil náskok a závod kontroloval s obrovským přehledem. Nikomu nedal šanci a suverénně si dojel pro další vítězství, čímž završil perfektní večer – pole position, výhra ve sprintu, vítězství v hlavním závodě a navíc ocenění Jezdec dne od fanoušků.

Velmi silný výkon předvedl také Vojtěch Fiala, který po smolném sprintu zabojoval a v hlavním závodě si dojel pro výborné čtvrté místo. Martin Krejča znovu potvrdil stabilní formu a dalšími body za deváté místo pomohl týmu upevnit vedení v šampionátu. František Kaštovský skončil těsně za TOP10 na jedenácté pozici, Tomáš Hora dojel třináctý a Lukáš Uhlík šestnáctý.

Portimão tak znovu ukázalo, že letošní Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2026 nebude jen o rychlosti, ale také o schopnosti zvládat tlak, strategii a krizové momenty. JJ Racing Team však odjíždí z Portugalska s obrovským sebevědomím. Martin Kadlečík navýšil své vedení v šampionátu už na luxusních 54 bodů a celý tým dál drží první místo v hodnocení stájí.

Další zastávkou sezóny bude technický Sachsenring v Německu, kde se pojede už 2. června 2026. Fanoušci budou moci celý závodní večer sledovat živě na YouTube kanále Virtual GP nebo na obrazovkách Oneplay Sport.
