The summer break is over, and the drivers of the Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2025 championship returned to the cockpits – this time with a brand-new challenge. The formula phase of the season kicked off on a demanding circuit that offered no mercy. What looked like a chance of light rain turned into a massive downpour, completely changing the dynamics of the race and bringing chaos, driver errors, unexpected twists, and strategic gambles.

For JJ Racing Team, it was a race full of emotion. The team welcomed a new driver, Jaroslav Roth, who stepped in for Ladislav Tóth for the formula part of the season. Despite the adrenaline-fueled weather and tough conditions for a debut in new cars, the team managed to place two drivers in the TOP 10, earning valuable points for the standings.

Zdeněk Hamák enjoyed the race – after qualifying 12th, he navigated through the chaos and finished 9th with a clean, composed drive in very difficult conditions.

“I had good pace on a dry track, and in the rain, I went for consistency. I had a few close calls, but managed to bring the car home without mistakes. I feel much more comfortable in formula cars than GT3s, and I’m really looking forward to the next rounds.”

Jaroslav Roth, the team’s new recruit, showed great potential. After qualifying 7th, he battled at the front for a long time before losing positions due to visibility issues and driving errors in the worsening rain. He still managed to finish 10th.

“I had a great start and even ran in P5 for a while, but then the rain brought mistakes and nearly zero visibility. Still, my raw pace was good – and that’s a big motivation for the rest of the season.”

František Kaštovský had a promising qualifying session (8th place), but a poor start and early collision ruined his race. After receiving a time penalty, he focused on recovering and finished 13th.

“I completely messed up the start. But I had really strong dry pace, which is at least one positive takeaway.”

Lukáš Uhlík had a tough race, battling both the car and the conditions. After qualifying 17th, he also finished 17th.

“I haven’t quite gotten to grips with the formula cars yet, but I believe I’ll be stronger in the upcoming dry races.”

🔄 A Storm as a New Beginning

The opening round of the formula phase proved one thing: nothing is guaranteed in this championship. Extreme conditions, a new car type, and tight competition created a dramatic mix of joy and disappointment. But for JJ Racing Team, this debut holds a clear message – the team has the strength and potential to fight for higher positions.

The season now moves forward, and the team is already fine-tuning its performance for the next round. Fans can look forward to more thrilling overtakes, wheel-to-wheel battles, and the strong team spirit that makes JJ Racing Team one of the most exciting names on the sim racing scene.

Déšť, drama a formulová premiéra: JJ Racing Team odstartoval druhou polovinu sezóny Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2025

Letní pauza skončila a jezdci šampionátu Mercedes-Benz Virtual GP 2025 zasedli zpět do kokpitů – tentokrát však s novou výzvou. Formulová část sezóny odstartovala zostra na náročném okruhu, který si na úvod připravil pořádnou prověrku. Trať totiž pokropila silná průtrž mračen, která zcela změnila dynamiku závodu a přinesla chaotické momenty plné jezdeckých chyb, strategií a nečekaných zvratů.

Pro JJ Racing Team šlo o závod plný emocí. Tým přivítal nového jezdce Jaroslava Rotha, který nahradil Ladislava Tótha pro formulovou část. Ačkoliv počasí přineslo pořádnou dávku adrenalinu a ztížilo premiéru novým vozům, tým dokázal umístit dva jezdce v TOP10 a připisuje si cenné body do hodnocení.

Zdeněk Hamák si závod užil – po solidní kvalifikaci z 12. pozice dokázal využít chaosu a s jistou jízdou v náročných podmínkách dokončil na 9. místě. „Na suchu jsem držel tempo, v dešti jsem jel raději na jistotu. Párkrát jsem měl namále, ale podařilo se dojet bez chyb. Formule mi sedí víc než GT3, těším se na další podniky.“

Jaroslav Roth, nováček v týmu, ukázal velký potenciál. Kvalifikoval se na 7. místě a dlouho bojoval na špičce, než začal kvůli dešti ztrácet. I tak z toho bylo 10. místo. „Start mi vyšel a chvíli jsem jel pátý, ale pak přišly chyby a horší viditelnost. Čistá rychlost tam ale byla – a to je pro mě motivace do dalších závodů.“

František Kaštovský měl slibnou kvalifikaci (8. místo), ale vše pokazil nevydařený start. Po srážce v prvním kole a penalizaci se snažil zachránit, co šlo, a dojel třináctý. „Začátek jsem absolutně pokazil. Tempo na suchu bylo ale skvělé, což je pozitivní.“

Lukáš Uhlík bojoval jak s vozem, tak s podmínkami. Po 17. místě v kvalifikaci zopakoval stejný výsledek i v závodě. „Formule mi zatím nesedla, ale věřím, že v dalších závodech na suchu budu silnější.“

🔄 Bouře jako nový start

Úvodní závod formulové části ukázal, že v šampionátu není nic jisté. Extrémní podmínky, nový typ vozu a vysoká konkurence přinesly mix radosti i zklamání. Pro JJ Racing Team však premiéra nese jasné poselství – je tu síla a potenciál k útoku na vyšší příčky.

Sezóna pokračuje dál a tým už teď ladí formu na další zastávku. Fanoušci se mohou těšit na další porci předjíždění, soubojů kolo na kolo a týmového ducha, který dělá z JJ Racing Team jedno z nejzajímavějších jmen na scéně.
