The second half of the Toyota Online Racing 2025 championship began at the legendary Zolder Circuit in Belgium, where JJ Racing Team once again lined up on the grid with Zdeněk Hamák and František Kaštovský. The race was full of tight battles, unexpected collisions, and dramatic moments, as drivers fought to secure valuable championship points.

Intense Battles and Incidents Define the Race

Zolder once again delivered aggressive wheel-to-wheel racing, presenting both podium opportunities and the risk of collisions, which unfortunately also affected JJ Racing Team. František Kaštovský was among the fastest drivers and in the third sprint, he fought for a podium finish, ultimately securing an impressive 4th place. On the other hand, Zdeněk Hamák had a tough race weekend, as he had to retire from two races due to unfortunate incidents.

Driver Comments: Exciting Battles and a Tough Race Weekend

Zdeněk Hamák:
„In the first race, overtaking was really difficult, and the chicanes slowed me down several times, costing me valuable positions. In the second race, I was fighting for a better position, but another driver joined the battle, and in the corner, we collided, forcing me to retire. In the third sprint, I wanted to push for points again, but after contact with another driver, my car suffered damage that eventually took me out. It wasn’t an ideal weekend, but I’m looking forward to the next race, where I’ll try to make up for the bad luck in this round.“

František Kaštovský:
„In the first sprint, I was making my way up the field, but unfortunately, I made contact with a competitor who made a mistake in the chicane and spun me around. I lost a lot of time and finished only in 11th place. In the second race, I managed to stay consistent and finished in the TOP 10. My best race was the third sprint, where I fought for 2nd and 3rd place against two competitors. I was waiting for them to make a mistake, and when it finally happened, I couldn’t fully capitalize on it and finished 4th. I believe we had the potential for a podium, but that’s motorsport. Hopefully, we’ll get there next time!“

Looking Ahead to the Next Races

Zolder was a challenging race, where JJ Racing Team showcased both speed and fighting spirit, but also faced incidents that influenced the final results. Nevertheless, the team secured important championship points, and preparations for the next race are already in full swing.

The next round of the Toyota Online Racing 2025 championship will take place on February 25 at the Okayama Circuit in Japan, and fans can once again watch it live on O2 TV Sport or on the Twitch channel of the championship organizer, Proesport.cz.

Napětí až do cíle! JJ Racing Team bojoval, ale závod na Zolderu byl nekompromisní

Druhá polovina šampionátu Toyota Online Racing 2025 odstartovala na ikonickém belgickém okruhu Zolder, kde se tým JJ Racing Team opět postavil na start ve složení Zdeněk Hamák a František Kaštovský. Závod byl plný těsných soubojů, nečekaných kolizí a dramatických momentů, ve kterých se jezdci snažili získat cenné body do celkového hodnocení šampionátu.

Závody plné soubojů a incidentů

Zolder opět přinesl agresivní závodění kolo na kolo, které znamenalo jak šance na pódiová umístění, tak i riziko kolizí, které se bohužel nevyhnuly ani JJ Racing Teamu. František Kaštovský patřil mezi nejrychlejší jezdce a v třetím sprintu bojoval dokonce o stupně vítězů, kde nakonec dokončil na výborném 4. místě. Zdeněk Hamák měl naopak smůlu, když musel ve dvou závodech odstoupit kvůli nešťastným kolizím.

Komentáře jezdců: Napínavé souboje a těžký průběh závodu

Zdeněk Hamák:
„V prvním závodě se mi těžko předjíždělo a šikany mi několikrát přinesly zpomalení, což mě stálo cenné pozice. Ve druhém závodě jsem bojoval o lepší umístění, ale při souboji o pozice se připojil třetí jezdec a v zatáčce došlo ke kolizi, což pro mě znamenalo odstoupení. Ve třetím sprintu jsem opět chtěl bojovat o body, ale po kontaktu s jiným jezdcem jsem utrpěl poškození auta, které mě nakonec vyřadilo. Tento závodní víkend nebyl ideální, ale těším se na další závod, kde budu chtít napravit smůlu z tohoto podniku.“

František Kaštovský:
„V prvním sprintu jsem se postupně propracovával vpřed, ale bohužel jsem se dostal do kontaktu se soupeřem, který v šikaně udělal chybu a otočil mě. Ztratil jsem hodně času a skončil až na 11. místě. Ve druhém závodě jsem už jel stabilně a podařilo se mi udržet v TOP 10. Nejlépe se mi vedlo ve třetím sprintu, kde jsem bojoval se dvěma soupeři o 2. a 3. místo. Čekal jsem na jejich chybu a ta nakonec přišla, ale bohužel jsem toho nedokázal dostatečně využít a dojel jsem čtvrtý. Myslím, že jsme měli potenciál na bednu, ale takový je motorsport. Snad to vyjde příště!“

Pohled do dalších závodů

Zolder byl náročným podnikem, ve kterém JJ Racing Team ukázal rychlost i bojovnost, ale zároveň se nevyhnul incidentům, které ovlivnily výsledky. Přesto si tým odváží důležité body do šampionátu a přípravy na další závod jsou již v plném proudu.
